A continued research
Pamela Luchitta was born in Turin, Italy, into a family of artists. She produced her first significant works at the age of 15. Luchitta attended the University of Rome where she studied Sociology and Anthropology. Luchitta has travelled extensively in Europe,
Africa and Asia. Her brilliantly colored acrylic paintings reverberate with energy. Luchitta works with abstracted imagery in active scenes in which the figure is reduced to its purest form.
Rounded geometric shapes rendered in vibrant fauvist shades, interplay with each other across the canvas to create an engaging dialogue of color, shape and movement. After working as an artist in Turin and Rome, Luchitta went on to work and study in London and Dublin.
She then moved to Paris and subsequently New York where she continued to work on both private and public collections. Luchitta’s works have been exhibited in Paris, Berlin, Turin and New York.
She divides her time between Cervo, Italy, where she has a gallery, and New York.
